How to care and maintain bottle cap molds

Today, injection mold products are widely used in daily life production, and manufacturers have an increasing demand for injection molds. Therefore, daily maintenance of molds is very important. The manufacturer shares with you the methods of maintaining and maintaining the mold. I hope it will be helpful to everyone!
Maintenance of bottle cap mold
During the continuous working process of the mold, problems such as wear of parts, deterioration of lubricants, water leakage, crushing of plastic materials, etc. are easily caused during the movement. Mold maintenance is required.
Routine mold maintenance includes the following aspects:
1. Regular rust removal (appearance, PL surface, mold cavity, core, etc.)
2. Re-lubricate regularly (ejector mechanism, row position, etc.)
3. Regularly replace wear parts (tie rods, bolts, etc.)
4. Other areas that need attention
The maintenance of the lower mold of the mold requires professional maintenance personnel to remove the mold and conduct professional testing and protection of the mold cavity, ejector pins, etc.

Bottle cap mold protection
Since the mold has characteristics such as specificity, precision, and vulnerability, the safety protection of the mold is very important. The overall summary is as follows:
1. Anti-rust
Prevent injection molding machine molds from rusting caused by water leakage/condensation/rain/fingerprints, etc.
2. Collision avoidance
Prevent the mold from being damaged due to the breakage of the ejector pin and failure to return to the correct position.
3. Remove thorns
Prevent mold burrs caused by cloth wiping/material punching/hand wiping/nozzle pliers/knife collision.
4. Missing parts
Prevent the mold from being damaged during use due to lack of tie rods/washers and other parts.
5. Anti-pressure
Prevent mold crushing caused by mold locking due to product still remaining.
6. Undervoltage
Prevent mold damage caused by excessive low-pressure protection pressure.
Among them, the proportion of mold damage caused by broken ejector pins, failure of the ejector pin to return to the position, product residue in the mold, and lack of auxiliary parts is relatively high, and because it occurs more frequently, more than 85% of mold damage is caused by these reasons. Mold maintenance costs are generally high, so how to avoid such situations is directly related to the interests of the injection molding industry.
Maintenance precautions for bottle cap molds
1. When disassembling the mold, avoid being bruised and wet, and move smoothly.
2. Spray the hot mold and then spray a small amount of release agent.
3. Conduct a comprehensive inspection of the mold and carry out anti-rust treatment: carefully wipe away moisture and debris from the cavity, core, ejection mechanism and row position, spray the mold anti-rust agent and apply butter.
